Supply package:

• UniCon32 controller (developed according to a custom project, manufactured by NPP ASCOM Company,” Ukraine);
• Specialized operator panel with a touchscreen graphical interface.

Automation object: Thermoplastic molding machine “MIR” (Italy). Replacement of the existing control system (ASK) with Siemens Simatic S5 using UniCon32.

Main functions of the control system:

• Processing signals from discrete sensors (limit switches, buttons, etc.);
• Processing encoder signals (positioning);
• Generating discrete output signals (control of starters, relays, indicator lamps, etc.);
• Controlling stepper motor drivers;
• Visualization of the machine’s status;
• Setting operational parameters.
